Lewis has been with Black Hills Works since 2011 and currently lives at W. Omaha. Lewis works at Ellsworth Air Force Base four days a week and enjoys his job. You can always count on Lewis to know random “Lewis facts” and he has a great sense of humor!
Lewis has been working very hard on becoming more independent and feeling better about himself. He started using meditation and going for walks to help with his anxiety, along with other tools to improve his self-esteem. As he increases his self-esteem, he has started getting involved more with Day Services and is even working on using TripMaster to get him to and from.
Having a clean apartment has also been a struggle for Lewis over the years. Now he takes pride in cleaning up his apartment when he knows someone is coming to visit and proudly hosts his annual meetings in his apartment.
