Admissions

Black Hills Works has proudly supported adults with disabilities for over 60-plus years, offering a variety of services. including residential, employment, day service programing, and much more.

Each adult with a disability served by Black Hills Works has a team working with them as they plan for their future and choose the services they need to reach their goals. The team consists of the individual, family members, and all the Black Hills Works staff who provide services and supports to them, as well as a Case Manager from outside of the agency who provides conflict-free case management. As a person-centered agency, we encourage people to direct their own teams as much as possible.

The process for admission with Black Hills Works begins with the selection of a Conflict-Free Case Manager (CFCM). For information about Case Managers in your region, click here. By clicking this link, you will be referred to the South Dakota Department of Human Services website.

Once a CFCM is assigned and funding is secured, please contact our Admissions Coordinator at 605.343.4550 for an admissions packet.
