At Black Hills Works, the work we do extends far beyond the walls of our buildings. Every day, our staff and the people we support are out in the community—traveling to and from work, medical appointments, volunteer opportunities, recreational activities, and home.
With our fleet of more than 100 vehicles traveling nearly one million miles each year, keeping them well-maintained and presentable is an important part of serving our mission. That’s why we are so grateful for our partnership with Super Tunnel Car Wash.

While a clean vehicle may seem like a small detail, it reflects the pride we take in our organization and extends the life of our vehicles to ensure dependable, cost-effective transportation for the hundreds of people we support every day.
As we focus on housing this month, we’re especially reminded of how important transportation is to community living. Many of our vehicles serve individuals living in residential homes throughout Rapid City, providing reliable transportation that helps them remain active, independent, and connected to their communities. Whether it’s a trip to the grocery store, a doctor’s appointment, work, a community event, or simply enjoying time with friends, dependable transportation makes these everyday moments possible.
