At Black Hills Works, we believe everyone has something valuable to contribute. Whether you have a few hours to give each month or are looking for an ongoing opportunity to make a difference, your time and talents can help create a community where everyone participates to achieve a life full of potential.
Since 1958, volunteers have played an important role in helping us support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. By sharing your interests, skills, and compassion, you help create opportunities for connection, inclusion, personal growth, and belonging.
You don’t need any special experience to volunteer with us. We welcome people from all backgrounds who are willing to learn, build relationships, and share their unique gifts. Whether you enjoy art, athletics, music, theater, teaching, mentoring, event planning, community engagement, or simply spending time with others, there is a place for you at Black Hills Works.
