Pathways to Possibility…this is our theme for 2026! Throughout the year, we’ll be sharing stories of how doors open when people come together—creating pathways that support full, meaningful lives. These stories will include the 24 honorees that will be celebrated at our Annual Recognition Gala.
Meet Tiffany! She grew up in Phillip, South Dakota and in the Northern Hills. She joined the Black Hills Works family in 2000.
Programs involved in with BHW: I’m in employment and residential programming. I’ve done Special Olympics as well.
Do you have a job? If so, where: I work on a Black Hills Works’ contract at Monument Health where I sanitize laundry carts. I also work at the Fire Department on a custodial contract. I like working with my job coaches. I like earning money. I’ve had a variety of other jobs as well.
People who are important to you: My mom and brother, my roommates, and my boss. I love them.
What makes you happy: I’m a happy person. Playing with my mom’s three cats makes me happy. I like my staff.
What you want people to know about you: I’m silly. I’m funny. I have a great laugh. I have a big heart and care a lot about the people in my life.
Favorite things: Going to Texas Roadhouse with my family. Making lists. Cooking goulash and hamburgers and drinking Dr. Pepper. I really like 1980s country music, especially Willie Nelson. Coloring books. I like mall walking and getting out of the house. I’m in the Kiwanis Aktion Club.
What is one thing you would like to accomplish in 2026: I’d like to get my own apartment.
What are you most proud of: That I’m doing good.
Best part of being part of BHW: I like it at Black Hills Works. I have fun with my friends and staff.
