Opportunities through Community…this is our theme for 2025! Throughout the year, you will learn how people supported by Black Hills Works are connected to our community through the opportunities you make possible. These stories will include the 24 honorees that will be celebrated at our Annual Recognition Gala.
Meet Daniel! He joined Black Hills Works as a participant in 2009, moving here from North Carolina so he could be closer to his brother. He is involved in residential programming and Special Olympics, where he competes in basketball, bocce ball, softball, bowling, and track and field.
People who are important to you: My brothers and sister and my staff.
What makes you happy: Being a jokester and making funny noises to make people laugh.
What you want people to know about you: I am good at keeping myself occupied.
